This summer we are again offering our CHAMPS leadership training program! It is geared for more mature high schoolers who want to grow in their personal discipleship and servant leadership.
Our focus is helping you grow in knowing God better, loving Him more, and serving His people.
If accepted into the CHAMPS program, you will attend Teen Camp as a camper. In addition to the regular Teen Camp services and activities, you will attend extra training sessions with our CHAMP’s staff.
Over the weekend in between camps, you will stay on the campsite. On Saturday you will work around the camp. In the evening you will participate in a fantastic activity with the other CHAMP’ers. On Sunday you will minister in a local church in southern Alberta.
The second week, Junior Camp, you will continue your leadership training, but you will also serve as a junior counselor (assisting one of our regular counselors) or as an operations staff member. This combination of learning and doing will be essential in your servant leadership development.
To be considered for the CHAMPS program, you must be recommended by your pastor.
